Yes – the town is not closed off! All the shops are open and enjoy a great day of trade on one of Corowa’s busiest days!
You won’t be able to drive down the in a vehicle. The following temporary Corowa Street closures will occur from 5:30 AM to 4:00 PM on race day for the purpose of the safe conduct of the Corowa Australian Billy Cart Championships.

1. SANGER STREET, between Isabel Street and the roundabout at the bottom.

2. CHURCH STREET, and Sanger Street 

3. MARY STREET, FULL LENGTH

4. RIVER STREET, between Sanger Street and rear of Royal Hotel

Detours will be via adjacent streets via Edward Street, Riesling Street and Isabel Street or via Queen Street and Parliament Street and will be adequately signposted.

Bus passengers please note that the River Street bus stop has been temporarily relocated to Riesling Street whilst the road closure is in place.

The car park near Bangerang Park at the bottom of the street offers parking and a short walk to the event in the main street. 
There is also public parking at the back on the BWS bottleshop in Short Street or on the corner of Queen and Church Street.
It is a busy day and parking fills up!
